Message from Ally McGurty, (Registered Mental Health Nurse), Clinical Team Manager, Angus – North – Community Mental Health Team

Yesterday was World Mental Health Nurse Day. We are extremely proud and privileged to be mental health nurses in Angus Health and Social Care Partnership, working alongside the fantastic teams within the Angus Community Mental Health Service. 2024 sees more new and exciting initiatives to reduce the barriers for people who experience mental ill health focusing on improving the physical health of people who experience mental ill health and embedding the ongoing work to support people with Neurodevelopment conditions. Our mental health nurses and teams across Angus show continued dedication, compassion and innovation to make these improvements a reality to make a difference in countless lives. thank you for all your amazing work.

Angus Health and Social Care Partnership is also very proud of our mental health nurse colleague Helen Bremner, who became a Queens Nurse in December. Helen is an inspiration to the service leading on the Physical Health improvements within the service.
